Synopsis:

Six hot pilots are ready and waiting for you to take off with them! Pack your bags and get to the airport! It’s time to join the mile high club with a brand new romance series starting this Christmas!

Caroline loves Christmas because it’s the one time of year that she’s guaranteed to have all her kids together under one roof. They’d been coming to their winter cabin in Switzerland ever since her first born arrived, and it became a tradition the whole family clung to. This year everything changes when tension snow piles from her middle son bringing his first serious girlfriend along and all of her other children expressing their individuality in ways she isn’t prepared for.

Harvey doesn’t do days off, he’s not the vacation type, but it’s been a tough year as owner of Parker Airlines. He is so ready to spend some quality time with his wife. Much as he’d never admit it, his relationship with aviation came before his marriage one too many times this year. He is determined to make this Christmas all about his family, yet Mother Nature has a different plan and disaster strikes.

Can the Parker family weather the storm?

Grab this festive, must read if you love heartwarming Christmas stories with a sprinkling of sexy.

Cockpit ChristmasCockpit Christmas by Britney Bell

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Cockpit Christmas is the prequel to a brand-new series. In this book, told in the perspectives of Caroline and Harvey; parents to six grown children. The Parker family spends their Christmas holidays together. That is a family rule. Each of the Parker kids will have their own book. I must say that I am very excited for this series. I loved all the characters. Each of the Parker family members has their own individual personas. Each intense, and complex.

While this book is basically a short novella, introducing the series and it’s staring members, I thought it was very well written. All the feels are present. The family dynamic of the Parkers are love and loyalty first and foremost. I really am looking forward to the first sibling getting his book. I don’t think I have ever read a series where the whole family are pilots. They are established travelers, obviously. An aspect I truly look forward to is watching these pilots travel the world. Just from this novella, I believe the author will do an amazing job with scene setting. Her writing is believable and engaging.

I recommend this book, highly. Fasten your seatbelts, it’s going to be a bumpy ride.!

This is my honest and unbiased review. Thank you for taking the time to read it. 🙂

About the Author:
A self-proclaimed reader enthusiast, Kristy started her writing journey back in 2009, reading and writing when her daughter was napping. Establishing her place in Corporate America (because something had to pay the bills), writing became her dirty, late-night secret.
After eight long years, she released her debut novel, Commander in Briefs. It was a long road, but she can honestly say, the road less traveled had the most beautiful sights.
The only thing Kristy Marie loves as much as reading and writing is sports! Especially those that require muscles and a nice ass. Her favorite is, and always will be, baseball. She’s such a fan, that she even married her small town’s high school’s centerfielder where they still live with their three badass kids.

Pitcher (Commander in Briefs #0.5)Pitcher by Kristy Marie

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Fantastic!
5 Stars!
Wow! Just wow!
First, I have to tell you this is the prequel to already published Commander In Briefs. Pitcher is not recommended to be read as a standalone. You can read it as a standalone if you want to, but you just can’t appreciate its greatness without reading Commander In Briefs as well. That said, I hope you will give this author a chance because she is an amazing writer. Literally, I am always impatiently waiting for her next release. I immensely enjoyed reading all her books.

Theo and Anniston…..
Ok, so to say these two have a complicated relationship is the understatement of the year! My heart kept breaking for Anniston. She needed Theo in her life and she would take him anyway she could. And while Theo needed Anniston as well, he wasn’t ready for the next step. I will say that Theo was selfish when it came to Anniston. He wouldn’t let himself have her, so no-one else would either. Their relationship was very intense. But I already knew that after reading CIB. In fact, Theo is probably the most intense, possessive, and impatient hero I have ever read.

I’m not going into details because I don’t really need to. This book is the introduction to how Theo and Anniston came to be best friends, then more. Trust me when I say, for a short book, all the “feels” are there. I’m going to admit, that while reading this book, I bit off all my finger nails! I even have bandaids on a couple of fingers. Thanks for that, Kristy, lol. ❤ This book is a must read for all you Theo and Anniston fans. I’d also like to mention that after finishing Pitcher, I started to re-read CIB. I need more Theo!

Amazing Kristy!!

This is my honest and unbiased review. Thank you for taking the time to read it. 🙂

Playing the Field is the prequel to Playing the Game/Playing to Win and if you’ve read both books, then Fletchers story is a must read.

winning goal

Having shot to fame at a young age, Scotland international footballer Fletcher Adams lives his life in the public eye. It’s not only his game on the pitch that the British public are interested in. No, it’s his love of wild nights and women that always seem to cause a stir with the media.

Fletcher has it all, or so everyone thinks. The car, the nice apartment, girls who throw themselves at him, and plenty of cash to splash around. But he’s never had a great relationship with his mum, an alcoholic who has never been there for him or loved him.

He’s tried over the years to help his mum combat her drink problem, all to no avail, but when he realises just how far down her life has spiralled, he knows he has to have one last shot at saving her. With his mother hell bent on drowning in drink, and yet another scandal in the news, will circumstances change for Fletcher, or will he continue playing the field?

My Review:

Playing the Field (A Beautiful Game #0.5)Playing the Field by Karen Frances

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

5 Stars to Playing The Field (A Beautiful Game #0.5) by Karen Frances.

I consider myself very lucky to have discovered this author over this past year. I have read several of Karen Frances’ books and have several more waiting on my Kindle. Her writing is brilliant. Her stories are intense and emotional, always having me engaged from page one, and you can be sure that all the ‘feels’ are there. I admit to going through many tissues with this series. Not complaining.

Playing The Field is the prequel to the duet, Playing The Game & Playing To Win.

Fletcher Adams has not had a good upbringing. In this novella, we learn the specifics of his life, what shaped him as opposed to the rather small amount of insight he gives us into his life in those first two books.

Fletcher was a ‘player’ before he settled down. I admit I was worried about my up-close and personal view of Fletcher’s manwhorish ways. I absolutely loved this man and I didn’t want my opinion of him to change.

Well, it certainly changed! I loved Fletcher Adams even more, if that was even possible.

If you haven’t read the A Beautiful Game books, the story of Fletcher and Jessica, then you should. Without those books you won’t appreciate how far Fletcher has come. You won’t see him as a tortured soul who eventually finds healing in an even more tortured soul. Jessica. That said, I don’t recommend Playing The Field as a standalone.

A Beautiful Game is a series I 100% recommend. If you love emotional, complex reads with characters that will easily earn your affection, this series is for you!

This is my heartfelt, honest, and unbiased review.

My Review:

Trouble MakerTrouble Maker by Jo Raven

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

5 Stars to Trouble Maker (Prequel to Caveman – coming May 29) by Jo Raven.

Hailey and Kaden…..

In case you are wondering….Trouble Maker was previously released in the anthology We Wish You A Naughty Christmas and was previously titled Exposed.

Jo Raven has never written a book that I didn’t absolutely love! Trouble Maker is no exception! But I do have one complaint…..I wanted it to be longer!

Kaden’s story broke my heart as all of Jo Raven’s heroes do. I thought Kaden was a perfect hero. He was protective, loyal and attentive. He was sweet too. I will add he was so sexy and sinful. The problem Kaden was dealing with was that a rumor started by an ex-girlfriend make him the topic of of the town. It was not anything good being said. People believed the rumors and thought him to be…well I don’t want to say what. This story is so short and I don’t want to ruin any of it for you.

Kaden not only had a bad reputation from the accusations made against his character, but some personal troubles as a result. I felt awful for how he was treated. For how alone he was and felt.

Hailey is new in town and doesn’t know anything about Kaden when she eyes him for the first time across a bar. And even when she hears the rumors, she can’t stay away.

Kaden and Hailey had chemistry from their first moment locking eyes. Although she was attracted to Kaden, there was some worry and mistrust on Hailey’s part. But once she decided she wanted to be with Kaden, and despite a dew bumps in the road, they fell for each other quickly.

This story may have been short but it has all the ‘feels.’

I wanted more!
