Addilyn Mitchell is going home for Christmas. Surrounded by excited children, supportive family, and the magic of the holiday season.

Not even close.

Listening to her mother ridicule her for the decision to be a successful single woman living on her own, Addilyn can’t take it anymore. A simple white lie snowballs into a complicated holiday situation. She says she has a boyfriend.

Not even close.

Nate Wheeler is available at the touch of a button. Literally. If you need a date, he’s your man. Just pick up the phone.

When he gets a desperate phone call from Addilyn, he agrees to her two week timeline. Something he never does, but there was something in her voice that made it impossible to ignore.

It’s just another job. Nothing will happen. It will be played out perfectly like it has every time before.

Not even close.

When they get together rules begin to break, and hearts begin to beat. It’s the perfect holiday ending right?

Not even close.

My Review:

Hired for the HolidaysHired for the Holidays by Luke Prescott

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

5 Stars to Hired For The Holidays by Luke Prescott.

What a precious, sweet and sexy story. I loved it! To say I was excited when this surprise was released is an understatement. I am a fan of this author and I love Christmas romances. Put the two together and it’s like Christmas morning for me. In addition, I love the trope of hired boyfriend/girlfriend. I admit that even though this trope is predictable in it’s happily ever after, Hired For The Holidays had everything I look for in a book.

In Addition there are many secondary characters that add even more fun and charm to the story.

I absolutely adored Addilyn and Nate. Their chemistry was there from the first moment they met. Even with Addilyn’s initial phone call to hire Nate, I felt their connection.

Addilyn hates the thought of going home for the Christmas holidays and have to listen to her family complain about her lack of a significant other. After a call to her mother, she finds herself desperate and makes a phone call that will change her life.

Nate is a hired escort. But he has morals and doesn’t get involved with his clients. Unless he is playing a role, he keeps a professional distance. That is until he meets Addilyn.

Nate was so sexy and charming. I absolutely loved how he treated Addilyn with respect and consideration. He was an absolute gentlemen. Total book boyfriend for me!

Addilyn was also a great character. She frustrated me at times but nothing bad. She had no plans to fall in love but when it happens, Addilyn makes a mistake that leads to an amazing grand gesture in the end. This book was enjoyable, entertaining and even romantic, despite the relationship starting out based on a lie. This book is one I will look forward to reading every Christmas. I loved it!

This is my honest and unbiased review. Thank you for taking the time to read it. 🙂
