Can a rescue dog help two lost souls find love at Christmas?
All accountant Griffin Cole wants for Christmas is stability. After spending his childhood traveling the world with his one-hit wonder rocker dad, he loves his quiet and unremarkable life in Marietta. Then the beautiful Raelyssa Woods knocks on his door. Her bold spirit immediately turns his predictable life upside down, and suddenly Griffin wants to ask Santa for so much more.
Rae Woods loves running her café in the small Montana town she calls home. She specializes in comfort food because she loves spreading joy to everyone she meets—two-footed or four. But after she impulsively takes in a homeless dog she names Noel, her big heart lands her in bigger trouble when her landlord threatens to toss her out. Grasping at holiday straws, she remembers a cute accountant who owes her a favor—and she happens to know he’s got a fenced yard and hidden soft spot.
When Griffin reluctantly agrees to foster Noel, he inadvertently sets in motion several Christmas miracles that neither he nor Rae could have ever seen coming.

My rating: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Oh how I love revisiting Marietta, Montana; especially during the holidays. The small town of Marietta does Christmas and romance in the best of ways. Their celebrations are fun and memorable for everyone. I can’t tell you the number of couples that had special moments during the Stroll. And I got to be with them through all these amazing stories and authors that write about this incredible small but endearing town.
Raelyssa and Griffin…….
Wow, these two were definitely two sides of the same coin. While they both had big hearts, their personalities couldn’t be more different. Rae was social, outgoing, generous, sweet, considerate and I could keep going with positive adjectives to describe how wonderful of a character she was in my opinion. Griffin, however, was not so outgoing. While he is quiet, polite and considerate, Griffin’s personality is aloof, predictable and guarded. He has good reasons for not wanting to have a relationship with any woman. Griffin and his brothers grew up with a famous father who loved them but didn’t know how to care for them AND be a famous singer so he sent his sons to live with a relative in Marietta. I haven’t read about Griffin’s brothers yet as his is the first book in the series but from this book, I can say he was not happy. I truly felt sad for him at times. He was so afraid to open up to love and even friendships. I won’t go into the story because you will want to form your own opinions. I can tell you though, I enjoyed watching every one of Griffin’s reactions to Rae. She was a breath of fresh air and so, so perfect for him. Rae was such a great person. Despite the tough times Rae has gone through, she was resilient and persistent. I think she just might be one of my top ten favorite female protagonists this year.
I truly recommend this heartwarming, memorable and adorable romance between two characters who absolutely deserved happiness. This is my honest and unbiased review and I thank you for taking the time to read it.

Kill him or die…
Anima’s existence is about one thing ––exterminating demons. She’s an assassin for the black magic coven, Tenebris, and her next assignment is to kill the president of Hallowed Grounds MC. Except, when they meet, she can’t fulfill her task. Torque isn’t the ruthless princep of Bloods they declared him to be. Instead, he’s so much more.
But time is running out, and Anima knows what happens to assassins who don’t satisfy their contracts. She never meant to spare him, but if what he says is true, then her entire life has been a lie.
Two dark souls are now linked by a future neither saw coming. If they don’t get answers fast, it could be the end of New City. And the person who raised Anima, whom she thought she could trust above all else, is actually the one behind it all. Her mentor and the high priestess of Tenebris coven, Rahna, has been keeping secrets, the deadly kind that can ruin life as they know it.
Can two such opposite enemies join forces to take down a common foe, or will old habits prevent them from saving the realms they are both inextricably linked to?
Lovers of Ilona Andrews and Kim Harrison will devour A.C. Wilds’ new Demon Assassin Series.
Katherine wasn’t looking for anything extraordinary in her life. She had a job she loved, a husband she adored, and a home in the beautiful seaside town of Moonstone Cove.
Okay yes, she worked too much and had fallen out of touch with all her friends, but that happened to everyone, right? And sure, she was feeling a little creaky in the mornings and couldn’t drink coffee after noon, but that was just life in middle age.
Four minutes was all it took for fate to run away with anything that resembled normal.
Now Katherine is trying to place mysterious psychic visions into her previously ordered life. She’s playing referee between a displaced Southern mama and a sarcastic mechanic with a chip on her shoulder. And her quiet life has been upended by a mysterious rash of violent acts by students at her school.
Thankfully, her new friends have powers of their own, and together they just might discover who or what has it in for the quiet citizens of Moonstone Cove.
