Ellis Atwood is the devil. Ok, maybe that’s too harsh. Ellis Atwood is ruining my life.
First, he demolishes a perfectly good wedding trellis.
Second, he destroys a gorgeous doggie wedding that I spent ages planning. (I kid you not.)
Third, he makes me feel all warm and fuzzy, and that is not ok. I prefer the cold and harsh way my fiancé makes me feel so much better. (wait, that didn’t come out right.)
Fourth, and there is a fourth, he gets me all wound up and flustered.
And last, when he unexpectedly kissed me it made me forget my own name, or the fact that I’m getting married…in a month.
Please someone help me out. I’m a mess.
Worst part is, Ellis isn’t the bad guy I first thought he was.
And being forced to spend time with him is making me realize that he needs my help more than anything.
So what’s a girl like me to do?
I’m only in town long enough to figure out a plan with my brother on how to save our brewery from the awfulness that is my father. Oh and be in a wedding.
Where I may or may not be crushing a little too hard on the bride-to-be. (spoiler alert, I’m crushing hard.)
She’s really cute. Like seriously.
And she has the cutest job, she’s a dog wedding planner. (I kid you not.)
I can see why Henry loves her.
I can see why everyone loves her.
I can see why I’m falling for her.
I’m usually not a relationship-type guy. Call it picky or whatnot, but usually I get bored easily. So, my plan is simple. Spend as much time with Kiki (soon to be Faniki, I know) and hopefully get bored with her adorkable smile and sexy legs that go on for miles.
Then, I can save the brewery, be the best man of the wedding, and get my butt back to Atlanta and away from the happy couple.

Originality, humor, endearing characters and the most adorkable novel I’ve read in a long time, if ever. Off the top of my head, I can honestly say this book does not compare to anything I’ve read in a long, long time. Never Kiss A Stranger was so much fun to read and the perfect distraction to what we as a country have been dealing with these past weeks. Including myself, my entire family has been sick which was the only reason it took me several days to read this amazing book. My head was so foggy, I just couldn’t get through it in one sitting. I can only imagine how much more I would have loved this book; when I am 100% feeling better, I want to read it again.
I know I always say this but this author has never written a book I haven’t loved. The fact he can write perfectly in any romance trope and genre is a gift I wish more authors had. I don’t need a synopsis, teaser or beautiful cover to know I’m going to read his books regardless.
So, this book? Yeah, you might want to read it in a private corner without your family constantly asking, “what’s so funny” or “why are you blushing?” I am a huge fan of romantic comedy and this book was one of my all-time favorites. A lot of authors can successfully write romcom, but that number is few and far between if you’re looking for a laugh out loud, adorkable book that will cause second-hand embarrassment and the most lovable couple, ever! Logan Chance gave me everything in this novel and I more than recommend it. I’m telling you; you need to read this book!
Without giving any spoilers, I’ll tell you that Kiki and Ellis’ first meeting set the stage for an incredibly fun story. And if you wondering about cheating, there is none! This book has a touch of angst to give it a more realistic feel. The pace is steady and the words flow smoothly. There are a few secondary characters that I wonder if we’ll see in the future. In addition to a great story, the author takes us to Florida, specifically Jupiter. I have been there before years ago and I enjoyed visiting again through Logan’s storytelling. Florida is literally my second home and if you’ve never visited, there is so much to do and see aside from the theme parks. Hey, if you’re interested, you can arrange a dog wedding with Kiki. 😉
We need more books like Never Kiss A Stranger.. Don’t make a mistake; grab this book. If fact, if you do, I’d love to chat about it with you!
This is my honest and unbiased review. Thank you for taking the time to read it. 🙂
