My 📝Review📝: 5 Stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Take Me Away is technically book one in the Cockpit series. However, during the holidays, Cockpit Christmas, starring the Parker parents was the introduction to the series. That was a perfect novella and because of it, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on the first book. And now that I’ve read it, I can’t wait for the next Parker sibling to get their story. This book wasn’t very long and yet, I felt nothing rushed. Character and relationship development were perfect. I have a good feeling that this will be a great series and one of my favorites. In addition, I have found two new authors to love.
This book features Liam Parker, the wealthy CEO of Parker airlines and his heroine, Heaven. Liam is also a pilot, which is sexy in itself. Liam, unfortunately, is a workaholic and he prefers it that way. But recently, he has been wondering what it would be like to be in a committed relationship. He decides he is not opposed to it. That said, he isn’t actively looking for a partner. That is, until he meets the sassy, spirited and outspoken Heaven.
Heaven is decidedly and justifiably wary of being in any relationship, especially with Liam Parker, a man who is out of her league. Past experience has put a fear of being in a relationship in Heaven. I won’t give you details but I will tell you that Heaven’s heart was no match for Liam’s charm and determination. These two have some obstacles to get over. And while I, myself, wondered how things would work out given their lifestyles were so different, the authors gave me the happily-ever-after I needed.
Really, this was such a good book and I can’t wait for the next Parker’s book! I hope that won’t be a long wait.
This is my honest and unbiased review. Thank you for taking the time to read it. 🙂
