Rebel Howl rules the record charts; Lincoln Cruz is the lead singer and Alpha to his small pack. He is a manwhore and is crude, possessive, arrogant, demanding, cocky, and sexy as hell—the Ultimate Alpha Male.

When Lincoln comes face to face with a little one and her mother, he realizes she is his One True Mate. Unfortunately, she doesn’t know who or what he is and has no desire to learn. Lincoln must prove himself worthy of Savannah, where he might just find his salvation.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

4 Stars to Rebel Howl by Michelle Corchis.

Oh my! I love paranormal romance; wolf shifters being my favorite! Lincoln Cruz is the alpha of his small pack. He is also a rockstar. And Lincoln epitomizes the rockstar lifestyle. Lincoln drinks heavily and is a womanizer. I admit, it is not easy to like him in the first chapters of the book. Not only is he arrogant, I didn’t like the way he treated his pack. His MO was basically, “my way or the highway.” His band/pack members seem to despise him and the dynamic among them was tension filled. Of course all the ladies love him; until their night is over.

There are several secondary characters in this book. I am hoping the author will write some of their stories as well. Especially Max and Gunner.

Savannah was an independent, take no nonsense, heroine. It took her a while to come around to Lincoln. She did not trust him at all! I enjoyed watching Lincoln discover his mate. Another aspect of the story I loved was that Lincoln had to work extremely hard to win over Savannah’s trust. For him, a man used to having his way with the ladies, this was difficult and not something he ever experienced.

Savannah is not only responsible for herself but she has an adorable little girl named Shay and a sassy, protective younger sister who added depth to this angsty story. I would like to see Lacey and Max have a book.

I know I mentioned this before but I want to say again how much I loved watching Lincoln change from a jerk to a man determined to love and protect.

There is some suspense going on that kept me on the edge of my seat. There are also some pretty nasty antagonists in this book. All in all I enjoyed Rebel Howl. If you are a fan of shifter romances with strong heroines and even stronger alpha heroes, I recommend this book.

This is my honest and unbiased opinion. Thank you for taking the to read it. 🙂
