Chasing Him is a full-length 110k+ words standalone novel that’s filled with angst, sexual tension, and plenty of forbidden temptation! Let Kennedy Fox take you to the South for a hot, captivating adventure that’ll surely leave your Kindles on fire!

John Bishop isn’t your typical single dad.
Reserved, impatient, and utterly clueless.

Running the family’s bed and breakfast has many perks. Working long hours, picking up after the guests, and hearing couples going at it all night long aren’t any of them. Hooking up with girls who come to the ranch for horseback riding lessons? Best perk of them all.

That is until a baby shows up at his doorstep with a note claiming it’s his. Growing up on a ranch was anything but easy, but raising a newborn is proving to be the hardest task he’ll ever tackle. Leaving the bachelor life behind, his only priority is to hire a nanny who can teach him a thing or two about parenting — except he doesn’t anticipate her being gorgeous and quirky with an unhealthy football obsession.

Mila Carmichael has many talents — making balloon animals, creating origami art, and remaining in the friend zone. Often seen as one of the guys, she’s struck out more times than a rookie baseball player.

Seeking a new adventure, she flies to Texas to visit family and is offered a position she can’t refuse. Helping out a new dad should come easy to her, considering her past experience, but what she doesn’t anticipate is him being an attractive Southern temptation.

But that’s only the beginning.

While growing close to his family and falling madly in love with the baby girl who’s stealing their hearts, things are bound to get complicated. Everyone knows not to mix business with pleasure. That means no late movie nights, no stolen glances, and definitely no kissing behind closed doors. Too bad the universe has other plans — one that’ll threaten taking away the main thing that binds them together.

My Review:

Chasing Him (Bishop Brothers)Chasing Him by Kennedy Fox

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

5 Stars…..

John and Mila…..

This series keeps getting better and better. Here we are on book three and it’s my new favorite. I don’t have one single complaint about these Bishops brothers. Well, except for Jackson because his book isn’t out yet and I’m impatient, lol.

Here we have the heartwarming and slightly dramatic story of John Bishop and how one day he finds out he is a father. I won’t go into the details because there is a sad story behind that. I was just so thrilled to watch him with his baby daughter. Talk about an ovary explosion.

This amazing author duo known as Kennedy Fox has never disappointed me. I have loved all their books thus far and because their writing style is one that engages me with every last word, I don’t ever see that happening. Each book in this series (three thus far), has a perfect balance of suspense, angst, humor, witty and lovable secondary characters, and a premise that keeps you entertained. I can’t tell you how badly I am looking forward to the next in this series.

John and Mila were both mature, lovable characters. I will say, however, that because of their circumstances, despite their obvious attraction to each other, the first half of the book is a slow burn. I appreciated that these two acted responsibly first; it made for a believable story. When they did act on their attraction, it was beyond scorching. Their connection was believable, the tension was palpable and I couldn’t help but worry about how things would turn out. Mila and John were perfect for each other so I knew their story would be fantastic.

This is book three in the Bishop Brother series and while it can be read as a standalone, you should truly read them all to have a better experience with this amazing, loyal and loving family. If you are a fan of Kennedy Fox then you might know that this series is a spinoff from their Checkmate series as Courtney from This is Reckless is the only sister to the Bishop brothers. As a personal preference, interconnected books always guaranty that I’ll be back for more. And I can most definitely guaranty that I will be looking for more Kennedy Fox.

This is my honest and unbiased review. Thank you taking the time to read it. 🙂
