Not just back in town, but living in the flat right beneath mine. And he looks good enough to eat, which is just one more reason to stay away from him.
But I can’t resist.
The sex is incredible (pretty sure we’ve shaken the house right off its foundation), but he can’t fool me—not this time. A degree in marketing and five years in advertising have taught me that “true love” is a fairy tale used to sell lipstick, diamonds, and perfume. It doesn’t exist.
He thinks I’m wrong, and he wants to prove it.
I think he’s crazy, so I dare him to try.
It might be the biggest mistake of my life.

Quinn and Jaime…….
Talk about a commitment phob! Jaime was so stubborn that she nearly lost the love of a lifetime. Quinn is one of my favorite heroes of the books I read this month. In fact, I can say that he is on my top list for 2017 thus far.
Jaime crushed on Quinn when they were teen agers. Unfortunately he turned down her advances, broke her 17 year old heart then became the first of many romance disappointments in her life. Ten years later, Quinn is back in town. He is one gorgeous piece of man candy, sexy and smoking hot! Quinn is not only sexy, he is passionate, loving, considerate and the list goes on. How could any girl resist his charms? As long as there were no complications of commitment or feelings getting involved, Jaimie claimed she could. And for most of the book, she did a good job of denying her feelings to him and to herself all while having a casual affair with him.
Jaime was not easy to like. She said and did things I hated. That said, there were more than a few moments that she had me laughing aloud which endeared her to me. So my dislike for her didn’t last long.
On the other hand, Quinn was an amazing character. Lovable. If he had any faults, I didn’t see them. He was witty, charming and funny as well.
Man Candy was not my first Melanie Harlow book but it was my favorite. I didn’t have any complaints with her writing. The dialogue was perfect between Quinn and Jaime. Even with the secondary characters whose books I can’t wait to read. In addition, having both H/h POVs added even more to my enjoyment.
While this book had a ton of steamy scenes and scorching chemistry, Quinn and Jaime’s journey to a HEA was not a fast one. Jaime’s fears of ‘love’ were real and it took a lot of care and patience on Quinn’s behalf to win her over. I thought this book was great and I hardly put it down. Man Candy is definitely a top recommendation from me.
This is my honest and unbiased review and I thank you for taking the time to read it.
