Told in Hero’s POV
From the NYT Bestselling author of MISTER O, comes a hot and hilarious new standalone…
Here’s what you need to know about me — I’m well-off, well-hung and quick with a joke. Women like a guy who makes them laugh—and I don’t mean at the size of his d*ck. No, they want their funny with a side of huge… not to mention loyal. I’ve got all that plus a big bank account, thanks to my booming construction business. Yup. I know how to use all my tools.
Enter Natalie. Hot, sexy, smart, and my new assistant. Which makes her totally off limits…
Hey, I’m a good guy. Really. I do my best to stay far away from the kind of temptation she brings to work.
Until one night in Vegas…
Yeah, you’ve heard this one before. Bad news on the business front, drowning our sorrows in a few too many Harvey Wallbangers, and then I’m banging her. In my hotel room. In her hotel room. Behind the Titanic slot machine at the Flamingo (don’t ask). And before I can make her say “Oh God right there YES!” one more time, we’re both saying yes—the big yes—at a roadside chapel in front of a guy in press-on sideburns and a shiny gold leisure suit.
But it turns out what happened in Vegas didn’t stay in Vegas. And now, my dick doesn’t stay in my pants when she’s around. I try to resist. Honest. But the more we try to keep our hands to ourselves, the more we end up naked again, and the more time I want to spend with her fully clothed, too.
The question now is…do I take this woman to be my ex-wife?
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
My rating…4 Stars!!! to “Well Hung” by Lauren Blakely. This is the third book in this series so far. I love the covers and titles!
I loved this naughty series from the beginning: “Big Rock” “Mister O” and now “Well Hung” Im not gonna lie here….I grabbed the first book because of the cover and the title and since become a fan of Lauren Blakely. “Well Hung” was sexy and funny. The best part? Told in Wyatt’s POV. Wyatt was great in so many ways. I don’t often come across books told only in the heroes POV. When I do, they are always a strong consideration. Especially when they are RomCom.
Wyatt was an amazing character. He wasn’t too arrogant and he respected Natalie, trying to keep his distance. He wanted her but he wouldn’t take a chance on things not working out. Wyatt had trouble, twice before, in the past with vindictive exes. So naturally he has sworn off mixing business with pleasure. Did I mention that Natalie is his employee?
Wyatt tried to be good by resisting the temptation of beautiful, kind, funny Natalie. He tried so hard but eventually gave in to his feelings. And when Wyatt fell off the “wagon,” he does it spectacularly. The Vegas way.
Natalie was a fun character and Wyatt’s perfect match. She was just as humorous and witty as he was. Because we didn’t have Natalie’s POV, I couldn’t relate to her well. That said, I wasn’t bothered by that. I had a great time watching Wyatt fall in love. He tried to be cautious and careful, still worrying that Natalie would become another selfish, dishonest, woman who would take advantage of him. He makes some poor choices. He said some things that he soon regretted. The best part was watching Wyatt make his grand gesture. So amazing..sigh worthy…. Wyatt was the perfect hero. Silly, smart, witty and romantic. And let’s not forget gorgeous, sexy, sinful, and well……hung….
Lauren has more heroes to share with us in the future of this series as some were introduced in this book. I’m looking forward to reading those as well. I hope Lauren will decide to write a holiday romantic comedy. That would be amazing!
